Have you come across a website, social media account, email or similar using the Roman logo and images pretending to be us? Or do you think you may you may potentially be the victim of a scam?

Here are some useful tips to help you know when you’re shopping with Roman:

  • Check that the web address shown in your browser is for the legitimate Roman website: roman.co.uk

  • If you have been contacted over email, check the sender’s email address carefully to make sure it matches our genuine Roman accounts. We will only ever email you from addresses ending: @roman.co.uk @romanoriginalsfashion.co.uk

If you are unsure, contact our customer services team who can confirm whether the email came from us.
  • When you are browsing social media, check to see whether the account you are looking at has been verified and has a blue tick. The amount of followers is also a key number to look out for. Our Instagram and Facebook accounts are verified by a tick mark to show they are authentic. False accounts may often have a very low number of followers.

Roman will never contact you via social media for payment details or personal information.

If you have noticed suspicious activity that may be a scam, or if you spot social media accounts, emails or websites falsely claiming to be Roman, please contact our customer services team to report it. Please include the email addresses or URLs connected to any websites reported.

If you believe you have been the victim of a scam, you may wish to report it to the relevant authorities. You may also need to contact your bank, and secure any email or social media accounts.
